Biology Year 7 - Plant Cells
The plant cell is more complicated than the animal cell. It has a fixed shape (generally an irregular hexagon). The cell wall give the cell its shape. The chloroplasts are where photosynthesis occurs. The vacuole regulates the water content of the cell. The nucleus controls the cells activities. The cell membrane lets substances in and out of the cell. The cytoplasm is where the reactions take place.
