Infertility is when a couple finds it difficult to have a baby.
A miscarriage is when a woman cannot carry the developing baby for the full 9 months.

Main reasons for Infertility
- The man may have a low sperm count
- The woman may have a blockage
- The woman may not have any egg cells
- The woman may have issues with her menstrual cycle
Ways in which you can treat Infertility
- Hormone treatment or surgery
- In vitro fertilisation - The sperm and egg are mixed in a test tube. The zygote is then put into the woman.
- Hysterectomy - The uterus is removed by surgery, and sometimes the oviducts as well.
